Christian Kim and Stephanie Li Receive PURA Awards

We are incredibly proud of both Christian Kim and Stephanie Li for receiving the competitive President’s Undergraduate Research Award (PURA) for Fall 2026. The two of them put a lot of effort into their proposals and have grown tremendously as researchers. We look forward to working with both of them this upcoming fall.

Soft Responsive Materials Laboratory (SRM-Lab)

My research focuses on developing new stimuli-responsive polymeric microstructured surfaces and microactuators—leveraging fundamental principles of polymer science, chemical synthesis, mechanics, and advanced nano/microfabrication techniques—for applications in miniaturized soft robotics as well as optical and mechanical meta-devices.
